QuickCalc is a free, independently run collection of online calculators and converters. It exists because most everyday calculations are simple to perform and surprisingly hard to find explained clearly in one place.
Every tool is a static page with the calculation written in plain JavaScript. There is no backend, no database, and no account system. When you enter a number, the arithmetic happens on your device and the result is rendered locally. Nothing is transmitted anywhere.
That design has a practical consequence worth stating plainly: we could not collect your inputs even if we wanted to. There is no server receiving them.
Three principles guide what gets published here.
Show the formula. Every calculator page states the equation it uses. If you disagree with the method, you can see exactly what it is doing rather than guessing.
State the assumptions. Calculators embed assumptions — a 28-day cycle, a 2,080-hour work year, a constant rate of return. Those assumptions are where results diverge from reality, so they are written down rather than hidden.
Say what the tool cannot do. A BMI figure cannot distinguish muscle from fat. A loan calculator that omits tax and insurance understates the real payment. Naming these limits is more useful than projecting false precision.
A calculator earns a place here if it meets three conditions: the calculation is one people actually need, the result informs a decision rather than satisfying curiosity, and there is something worth explaining about how it works. Tools that are pure arithmetic with nothing to say tend not to make the cut.
The site is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. Advertising has no influence on which tools are built or what the explanatory content says. No calculator is designed to steer you toward a particular product or service.
All results are estimates provided for general information. Health calculators use population-level formulas that will not fit every individual. Financial calculators ignore tax, fees, and personal circumstances. Nothing here constitutes medical, legal, financial, or professional advice of any kind.
